Cherry Mobile once again launched its new line of smartphones to be released. What sorts of devices awaits us?

After the introduction of new models in their annual “Festival,” Cherry Mobile launches yet another long list of Android™ devices. As always, these devices are targeted to be bought by a common Filipino. Each of these devices have what a Filipino would like. To know more, let’s discuss them one-by-one.

PULSE SERIES

Cherry Mobile introduces the new Pulse series, which initially includes the Pulse and Pulse Mini. Both phones have IPS displays, that helps users fight rays of the sun and improves viewing angles. The Cherry Mobile Pulse is the most affordable octa-core smartphone today, and also runs on KitKat with double-tap-to-wake function. Pulse and Pulse Mini are priced at Php 6,499 and Php 2,699 respectively.

TEGRA NOTE WITH LTE

Last month, NVIDIA launched the Tegra Note 7 tablet through Cherry Mobile. Now, they will release a variant of the tablet with 4G LTE capability. Cherry Mobile Tegra Note 7 with LTE is available at Php 13,999. That you can buy a gaming tablet for Php 10k and get LTE by adding Php 4k.

OTHER FEATURE-PACKED CHERRIES

CM ROVER. This phone is Cherry’s first ever Android with IP67-certified body. It means that Rover is an Android smartphone with water- and dust-proof capabilities. Not only it has a tough build, but also a long-life battery life with its 3,600 mAh battery. Other than that, there is nothing much more interesting in CM Rover. It only has the specs that common homegrown phones come with.

CM Pebble. This phone is something many people would like. Pebble is an Android Jelly Bean phone that has TV function. This phone is advisable for commuters who stay long in the vehicle to work or in the terminal. Outdoor TV-watching is not impossible because of its IPS display. If you don’t like TV, you could always surf the Web with its 3G connectivity.

As days pass, more and more phones are coming out. New models are released that suits the common Filipino lifestyle. We are looking forward to more feature-packed smartphones that would make us say “Wow!”
